I had another go at the captive inverted round weave today! These black freshwater pearls worked really well inside the cages, and I really like the way the rainbow colors contrast with the ring shapes. It’s super lightweight, too.
(you can order one at my store, if you like)
Next up, I’m going to make one with gold-plated rings and gray-gold pearls, and if that goes well, I’m going to expand into some crystal cubes and other interesting little sparklies. Should be fun!
Thanks for looking~ c:
does anyone else ship Aperture Fitness now??
((inspired by this))
Just finished a Full Persian bracelet, made with 20ga 5/16” bright aluminum rings. (Still trying as many new designs as I can before putting them in my store. I really like this one, as it’s beautifully three-dimensional, has a nice sparkle, and feels nearly weightless.)
Do let me know what you think, and as always, thanks for looking! c: <3
My project for today - a bracelet for Gavin’s and my anniversary! (ok so it’s technically in February, but we started dating 8 yrs ago today and it’s easier to celebrate now than on Valentine’s, haha)
Anyway, the weave is half captive inverted round and half modified byzantine (for flexibility; the little 1/8” copper rings in the 3/16” aluminum ones fit together more snugly than I’d intended).
To Gav: Happy anniversary, darlin’! :D
I learned to do a byzantine weave a couple of days ago, so I made my mom and my mother-in-law matching copper bracelets! (I didn’t have any copper findings though, so uh ignore the silver ones shhh >.>)
Here’s Gavin and me as GLaDOS and Wheatley at Phoenix Comicon yesterday (Friday)! For once, I’m glad that I get red-eye in every photo. Makes me look sinister.
(If you posed with us for a pic, feel free to send me a message and I’ll email you a link to the photo! I just didn’t want to post anyone else’s pictures without getting their permission first. c: )
